High Street Bells Choir
The Music
At the end of the day, we're all part of High Street Bells Choir for one reason: the music.
The Choir has a large catalogue of songs including popular songs, familiar songs, songs from local artists and songs composed by the Choir.
The Choir is supported with songbooks however the songs are also projected onto a screen for ease of learning.
Songs are suggested by the Music Director who encourages everybody to learn the songs to the best of their ability. Singers are also encouraged to suggest songs.
Songs are chosen for their sing-ability and their familiarity.
The Choir is supported by a pianist who accompanies the Choir for rehearsals and performances in the community.
The Choir also has a range of percussion instruments for singers to play and on many occasions a group of people who play ukuleles also join in.
